Howdy Y'all,
I bought a 88 Savage in 96 I rode the bike to hell and back. Last Summer I sold it to my little brother, the bike needed some work but he wanted to do it. Anyway he had the back at a shop to have it painted, while it was there this a$$hole (we know who and are in process of enforcing his debt) stole the foot pegs, the shifter, the brake pedal, and the linkages to the levers. The ba$tard also took the lever on the outside of the transmission. I have found the parts and we are currently waiting on a price from that guy so we can go get the money from the thief.
What I really want to know is how it all goes back together....what angle does the lever go on the transmission, the linkages.....We have the shop manual and it shows all the pieces but it does not have a good detailed pic of the parts.
Does anybody out there have, or could take some pics of the front/bottom end of a Savage for me and send the pics via e-mail?
This is my little brothers first ride and we have missed a few great weeks of riding already, so thanks in advance.
